Raken's Project Gallery gives you two ways to get your photos out of Raken and into the hands of stakeholders — a formatted PDF report that includes project details and photo descriptions, or a ZIP file delivered to any email address. Both start the same way: select the photos you want, then choose your export format.

To export photos from the Raken Gallery:
Open your project and click Gallery in the left side menu.
Click Select and choose the photos you want to export.
To export as a PDF report: click Export PDF.
To download as a ZIP: click Download selected, enter one or more email addresses, and click Send.
Both export options are available on all Raken plans.
Step 1: Select Photos in the Gallery
Log into the Raken web app. Click Projects in the left navigation and open your project. Click Gallery in the project left side menu.
Click Select in the top right corner of the Gallery. Checkboxes will appear on each photo. Click the photos you want to include in your export. You can select as many photos as needed across the gallery.
Tip: Use the Gallery filters (by date, contributor, or tag) to narrow down your view before selecting, so you can quickly find the right photos.
Option A: Export as a PDF Report
Once you've selected your photos, click Export PDF in the toolbar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Raken generates a professionally formatted PDF that includes:
Project information at the top of the report
Date, time, and photo description displayed next to each photo
The PDF downloads directly to your device. You can then email it, print it, or share it with project stakeholders, clients, or your team.
Option B: Download as a ZIP File
Once you've selected your photos, click Download selected in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
A modal will appear prompting you to enter one or more recipient email addresses. Type each address and press Enter or add a comma between addresses to include multiple recipients. Click Send.
Raken packages the selected photos into a ZIP file and sends an email from no-reply@rakenapp.com with the subject Your Media file is ready. The email includes a Download ZIP File button that links to a secure, signed download URL.
The ZIP file is not attached directly to the email — it is hosted at a secure link included in the email. Click Download ZIP File in the email to retrieve the file.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
I didn't receive the ZIP download email — what should I check?
Check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from no-reply@rakenapp.com with the subject "Your Media file is ready." Confirm the email address you entered was correct and try again if needed.
Can I send the ZIP to multiple people at once?
Yes. Enter multiple email addresses in the download modal by pressing Enter or adding a comma between each address.
Is there a limit to how many photos I can export at once?
There is no stated limit on the number of photos you can select for export. For very large selections, ZIP generation may take a few minutes before the email arrives.
What information is included in the PDF report?
The PDF includes your project information at the top, followed by each selected photo displayed with its date, time, and description. Only photos that have been given a description in Raken will show description text next to them in the report.
Can I export photos from the mobile app?
Not at this time. Photo export (PDF report and ZIP download) is available from the Raken web app only.

Considerations
Both export options are available on all Raken plans — Basic and Performance.
Photo descriptions entered in the Gallery will appear next to each photo in the PDF report. Add descriptions to photos before exporting for the most complete report output.
The ZIP download is delivered by email — not as a direct download. Make sure the recipient email address is entered correctly before clicking Send.
Photo export is available from the web app only. Mobile Gallery browsing is supported, but export is web-only.
