How to Change Project Settings in Raken

Every project in Raken can be configured to match how your team works. From adjusting daily report sections and survey questions to managing notifications and production settings, Project Admins and Account Admins have full control over how each project is set up.

To change project settings in Raken, go to Projects, open your project, and click Settings in the left navigation. Settings are organized into six sections: General, Daily reporting, Production, Integrations, Notifications, and Photos. Make your changes and click Save.


How to Change Project Settings on the Web

Step 1: Open Your Project

Click Projects in the left navigation of the Raken web app, then select the project you want to configure.

Step 2: Open Settings

Click Settings near the bottom of the project's left navigation. Settings are organized into six sections:

  • General — Update project name, address, start/end dates, and geofencing radius (if enabled)

  • Daily reporting — Control which sections appear on the daily report, update survey questions, manage email recipients, and enable Segments

  • Production — Adjust production tracking settings including cost codes, materials, and budgets

  • Integrations — Manage project-level integration settings

  • Notifications — Configure notification preferences for the project

  • Photos — Enable watermarks on mobile photos and choose which fields to include

Step 3: Make Your Changes

Select the section you want to update and make your changes.

Step 4: Save

Click the orange Save button in the top right corner.

Step 5: Confirmation

Your changes are saved immediately. Note: changes to survey questions and Segments take effect the following day.


Troubleshooting & FAQ

Why haven't my survey question changes taken effect yet?

Changes to survey questions and Segments don't apply until the following day — this is expected behavior and no action is needed.

Can I apply the same settings to multiple projects at once?

Not directly through Project Settings — those apply to one project at a time. To configure settings across multiple projects, use a Project Template and apply it to existing projects. See Editing Project Templates for details.

Who can change project settings?

Account Admins can update settings on any project. Project Admins can update settings on their assigned projects.

Can I change project settings from the mobile app?

Most project settings are managed from the web app. On mobile, you can update basic project info (name, address, dates) by tapping the project menu, but full settings configuration requires the web app.

Considerations
