Date and time stamps add transparency and accountability to your daily reports by showing exactly when entries were made and when photos were taken. Raken lets you control whether these stamps appear on your reports at the project or company template level.
Quick Answer
To toggle date and time stamps, go to Projects > [Your Project] > Settings > Daily Reporting > Report Sections. Under Daily logs, toggle Photo date / time stamps and Entry date / time stamps on or off, then click Save.
What Date and Time Stamps Control
Photo date / time stamps — displays the date and time each photo was taken on your completed daily report PDF
Entry date / time stamps — displays the date, time, and author name for Work Log, Note, and Survey entries on your completed daily report PDF
Both settings are enabled by default. Disabling them removes this information from the report PDF — the data is still stored in Raken, it just won't appear on the printed report.
How to Change Stamp Settings at the Project Level
Log into the Raken web app.
Click Projects and select your project.
Click Settings in the left side menu, then select Daily Reporting.
Navigate to the Report Sections tab.
Under Daily logs, toggle Photo date / time stamps and/or Entry date / time stamps on or off.
Click Save in the top right corner.
How to Change Stamp Settings at the Company Template Level
To apply the same stamp settings across multiple projects, update a Project Template.
Log into the Raken web app.
Click Company, then select Project templates.
Click the ellipsis (…) next to the template and select Edit.
Navigate to the Daily Report section.
Toggle Photo date / time stamps and/or Entry date / time stamps as needed.
Click Save.
Return to the templates list, click the ellipsis, and select Apply to projects. Choose the relevant projects and click Apply.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
If I turn off stamps, does the data still get recorded?
Yes. Turning off date and time stamps only hides them from the report PDF. The timestamp data is still captured and stored in Raken — it just won't be visible on the printed report.
Can I apply these changes to multiple projects at once?
Yes. Update the stamp settings in a Project Template and use Apply to projects to push the change to multiple projects at the same time.
