If your project uses Segments — separate daily report sections for different zones, shifts, or trades — you can select your segment directly from the mobile app and log your work independently from the rest of the team.

How to Complete a Segmented Daily Report on Mobile
Step 1: Open Daily Logs
Open the Raken mobile app. Tap Project tools and select your project. Tap Daily logs.
Step 2: Select Your Segment
Tap the Segment dropdown at the top of the screen and select the segment that applies to your work — for example, Shift A, Zone 1, or a specific trade.
Step 3: Log Your Work
Log your Work logs, Time cards, Notes, Attachments, and Survey as you normally would. All entries are recorded under your selected segment. Note: Once you've selected a segment, the app will default to that segment the next time you open this project. Tap the segment dropdown to change it if needed.
Step 4: Preview and Sign
When done, tap Preview report, review your entries, and sign off. Each segment produces its own signed daily report.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
I don't see a Segment dropdown on my project — why?
Segments must be enabled by an Account Admin or Project Admin. Go to Projects > Settings > Daily Reporting > Segments on the web app to enable them. Once enabled, the dropdown appears the following day.
Can I switch segments after I've already logged entries?
Yes. Tap the segment dropdown to switch. Entries already saved remain under the segment they were created in — new entries go under the newly selected segment.
Can I view all segments at once?
On mobile, you view one segment at a time. On the web app, use the segment dropdown to toggle between segments or select All to view all combined.
