Construction is inherently a collaborative industry and so it's critical to stay in communication with all of your subcontractors and trades. We've made it easy in Raken by letting them submit their reports to you directly in Raken. Read below to learn how to invite them.

What is a Collaborator?

A collaborator is a person outside of your organization that can create basic daily reports for a project. A collaborator can be a sub-contractor or other third party that you require reporting from.

Those people invited as collaborators only have access to enter in reporting on those projects that you allow them. Once completed, a collaborators report can be viewed in a Super Daily Report.

Inviting Collaborators

  1. Open the Raken Web App

  2. click on the Project tab at the top of the page and select the project that you would like to add collaborators to.

  3. In the navigation bar on the left side of the page you will click on Project directory.

  4. Select Collaborators in the drop down that appears.

  5. Click on the orange + Invite Collaborators button at the top right of the page.

  6.  Type in the email address of the collaborator you'd like to invite. If they have used Raken before, their name and company will fill in automatically. Otherwise, type in their name and company.

  7. Repeat for any additional collaborators you wish to invite and click the 'Send' button.

  8. The newly added users will be sent an email asking them to join your project inside Raken.
