Production Insights in Raken automatically aggregate production quantity data from across your projects into visual dashboards — so you can track how work is trending, spot projects falling behind schedule, and measure output against budget without manually compiling reports.

Quick Answer

To access Production Insights:

  1. Log into the Raken web app and click Dashboard in the left navigation.

  2. Click Insights, then select Daily logs from the sub-navigation to see production trends.

  3. Or navigate to a specific project and click Production > Insights for project-level data.

Company-Level Production Insights

The company-level Insights dashboard is available from Dashboard > Insights > Daily logs. It shows production and compliance data aggregated across all your active projects — including manpower trends, hours by project, and compliance by subcontractor.

Use the time range and project scope filters in the top right to adjust which projects and time periods are shown. Click the download icon on any chart to export that chart's data as a CSV.

Project-Level Production Insights

Each project has its own Production Insights view. Navigate to Projects > [Project] > Production > Insights.

Project-level insights show production quantity trends for that project specifically — quantities logged over time by material and cost code, progress against budget if configured, and daily production rates. This is the primary view for project managers tracking whether work is keeping pace with schedule.

Setting Up Production Insights

Production Insights automatically populate as your field team logs production quantity entries. No additional configuration is required beyond ensuring cost codes and materials are set up and that your team is logging entries consistently.

To set up production budgets — so Insights can show progress against planned quantities — navigate to your project's Production > Insights and click Set up or Edit budget to enter your planned quantities per cost code and material.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

My Production Insights charts are empty — why?

Insights only populate when production quantity entries have been logged. If your field team hasn't been logging daily entries, the charts will be empty. Confirm that entries are being logged under Projects > [Project] > Production > Materials.

Do I need to set up budgets for Insights to work?

No. Insights show actual production data whether or not budgets are configured. Budgets add a comparison layer (planned vs. actual) but are not required to see production trends.

Is Production Insights available on mobile?

No. Production Insights are available on the Raken web app only. Mobile entries feed the data that appears in Insights.

Does Production Insights require the Performance Plan?

Yes. Production Insights require the Performance Plan. Basic production quantity logging is available on all plans.
