Manually reviewing project data across dozens of jobs takes time you don't have. Raken Insights automatically aggregates field data from your daily logs into visual dashboards — so you can spot trends, measure compliance, and identify issues across all your projects without digging through individual reports.

Quick Answer

To access Insights, click Dashboard in the left navigation of the Raken web app, then click Insights. Select a sub-section — Daily logs, Safety, Quality control, or Tasks — to view charts and metrics for that category. Use the time range and project filters at the top right to adjust the scope of your data.

How to Use Insights on the Web

Step 1: Navigate to Insights

Log into the Raken Web App. Click Dashboard in the left side navigation bar, then click Insights. The Daily logs section opens by default.

Step 2: Select an Insights Category

Click any sub-section in the left side menu under Insights to switch categories:

  • Daily logs — Tracks manpower, hours, compliance, delays, safety incidents, and open tasks across all projects. Includes an All Time Stats summary bar and a Workers by Project trend chart.

  • Safety — Tracks HSE checklist completion, checklist compliance by work unit, and safety performance trends.

  • Quality control — Tracks quality checklist completion, issues raised, issues pending, and issues closed.

  • Tasks — Shows open tasks by project as a bubble chart, with each bubble sized by task volume.

Step 3: Set the Time Range

Click the time range dropdown in the top right corner to adjust the period. Available options are Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 4 weeks, This month, Last month, and Last 3 months. This filter applies to all charts on the current page.

Step 4: Set the Project Scope

Click the project scope dropdown next to the time range to control which projects are included in the data:

  • All active projects — Default. Includes all currently active projects.

  • Active & inactive projects — Includes all projects regardless of state.

  • Selected projects — Choose specific projects to include.

  • Selected project groups — Filter by project group (e.g., by region or division).

Check Apply These Settings to All Charts to apply the project scope across every chart on the page at once.

Step 5: Drill Into a Chart

Each chart includes a Show More link at the bottom to expand additional data rows. On charts with project breakdowns, click the Recent Projects dropdown to toggle between your most recently active projects or a custom selection of up to 5 projects.

Step 6: Download Chart Data

Click the download icon in the top right corner of any individual chart to export that chart's data as a CSV file.

What Each Insights Section Shows

Daily Logs

The Daily logs section is your high-level field performance dashboard. The All Time Stats bar at the top shows aggregate totals for Man Days, Hours, Safety Incidents, Delays, Missed Dailies, Compliance percentage, and Open Tasks for the selected time period. Below that, the Workers by Project chart plots manpower trends over time across your most active projects, with an average line for comparison. The Top Users table shows which team members have the most completed dailies and entries.

Safety

The Safety section tracks your HSE checklist performance. The HSE overview shows aggregate checklist counts. HSE checklist completion charts completed checklists over time by project. HSE checklist completion by work unit breaks down completion rates at the crew or classification level — useful for identifying which teams are consistently completing safety checks and which are falling behind.

Quality Control

The Quality control section shows checklist and issue data for QC processes. The Quality overview bar displays Checklists assigned, Checklists completed, Checklist compliance percentage, Issues raised, Issues pending, and Issues closed. The Quality checklist completion chart shows completion trends over time. Quality checklist completion by work unit breaks this down by crew or classification.

Tasks

The Tasks section shows a bubble chart of Open Tasks by project. Each bubble represents a project, sized and colored by task count. This gives you an instant visual of where task backlogs are concentrated across your portfolio.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Why is my Insights data showing zeros or no data?

Insights pulls from completed daily log entries. If your team hasn't been submitting daily reports, checklists, or other field data for the selected time period, the charts will show no data. Adjust the time range or project scope to confirm data exists, then work with your team on field submission habits.

Can I share Insights data with people outside Raken?

You can export individual chart data as a CSV using the download icon on each chart. There is no direct share link — to distribute Insights data externally, download and share the CSV file.

Does Insights update in real time?

Insights reflects data as it's submitted by your field team. There may be a short delay between a submission and its appearance in the charts, but data generally updates the same day entries are made.

Is Insights available on mobile?

No. Insights is available on the Raken web app only. Your field team's mobile submissions feed the data that appears in Insights.
