Missed dailies can pile up fast on an active jobsite. Raken gives you three tools to clear your compliance backlog and hit 100%: setting project start and end dates, adjusting required report frequency, and marking inactive days as No Work Done.

Quick Answer

To reach 100% project compliance, use these three best practices:

  1. Set a project start and end date so missed dailies aren't tallied outside your project window.

  2. Adjust required report frequency to match the days your crew actually works.

  3. Mark inactive days as No Work Done for holidays, weather days, or shutdowns.

How to Set a Project Start and End Date

Missed dailies won't be counted outside your project's active date range. Update the end date anytime as your project extends.

On the Web

  1. Log into the Raken Web App.

  2. Click Projects in the left side navigation bar and select your project.

  3. Scroll down in the left menu, click Settings, then select General.

  4. Click the Info tab.

  5. Update the Project Start Date and Project End Date fields.

  6. Click Save.

On the Mobile App

  1. Open the Raken mobile app and tap your project.

  2. Tap the menu icon in the top right corner.

  3. Tap Project Info.

  4. Update the start and end dates.

  5. Tap Save.

How to Adjust Required Report Frequency

Set which days of the week require a daily report to match your project schedule.

On the Web

  1. Log into the Raken Web App and select your project.

  2. Scroll down in the left menu, click Settings, then select Daily Reporting.

  3. Select or deselect the days a report is required.

  4. Click Save.

How to Use the No Work Done Tool

For days when no work occurred—weather, holidays, or site delays—marking the day as No Work Done removes it from your missed tally.

On the Web

  1. Log into the Raken Web App and navigate to your project.

  2. Go to Daily Logs and click the Calendar view.

  3. Click the crescent moon icon to the right of the calendar button.

  4. Set a Start Date and End Date for the period to mark.

  5. Click Save. All days in that range are marked No Work Done.

On the Mobile App

  1. Open the Raken mobile app and tap your project.

  2. Tap Daily Logs and then the Calendar icon.

  3. Navigate to the day you want to mark.

  4. Tap the No Work Done (crescent moon) option.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

Can I change the project end date if the project runs longer?
Yes. The end date can be updated at any time from Settings > General > Info on the web app.

Does adjusting report frequency affect historical data?
No. Changing which days require reports only affects compliance going forward. Past missed dailies remain as-is.

Can I bulk-mark weekends as No Work Done?
Yes. Use the bulk No Work Done tool in the Daily Logs Calendar view. Set a date range covering your weekends or holiday period and save.
