Managing a jobsite is demanding, and daily reports can sometimes fall behind. Raken's Compliance features provide a high-level view of your reporting health—so you can quickly identify gaps, resolve missed days in bulk, and keep your organization audit-ready.

Quick Answer

To manage compliance and missed reports:

  1. Log into the Raken Web App.

  2. Click Projects in the left side navigation bar and select your project.

  3. Click Compliance in the left side menu.

  4. Select Missed Dailies to view all unsigned or incomplete reports.

  5. Hover over a date to select No Work Done, Complete Daily, or Notify.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access Project Logs

Log into the Raken Web App. On the left side of your screen, select Projects, then click into the specific project you wish to review.

Step 2: Use the Calendar View

In the Daily Logs section, click the Calendar button. This gives you a visual overview of the month:

  • Completed: Reports that are finished and signed.

  • Unsigned: Reports that have data but lack a signature.

  • Missed: Days with no data or No Work Done status.

Step 3: Bulk Assign No Work Done

If the jobsite was closed for a period (e.g., weather or holidays), click the crescent moon icon to the right of the Calendar button. Select a Start Date and End Date, then click Save. This marks those days as No Work Done for compliance purposes.

Step 4: Sign Unsigned Reports

Click on any day marked as Unsigned Daily. Click the orange Sign button.

Note: If the Sign button is greyed out, ensure there is information (such as notes, work logs, or photos) within that daily report first. Add a quick note, then click Sign.

Step 5: Use the Compliance Tab for Bulk Actions

For a faster way to handle multiple missing reports:

  1. Click Projects and select your project.

  2. Click Compliance in the left side menu.

  3. Select Missed Dailies. This list shows every report currently requiring attention.

  4. Hover over the date of any report to:

    • Mark as No Work Done.

    • Complete Daily (sign the report).

    • Send Notification to the supervisor responsible for that project.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Why is my Sign button greyed out?

Raken requires at least one entry—a work log, a note, or an attachment—before a report can be signed. Add a quick note to enable the signature button.

Can I notify a supervisor about a missed daily directly from Raken?

Yes. In the Compliance > Missed Dailies tab, hover over a date to send a notification. This alerts the person assigned to that project's daily logs.

What is the difference between Missed and Unsigned?

A Missed daily has no data and no No Work Done status. An Unsigned daily has data entered but has not been finalized with a digital signature.

Technical Specifications

  • Platform: Web App only

  • Visibility: Account Administrators and Project Administrators

  • Notifications: Sent via email and push notification to the project's primary supervisor

  • Role Required: Administrator or Supervisor with Sign permissions

Considerations

  • Consistent compliance ensures that if a legal or insurance claim arises, you have a signed record for every project day.

  • Best practice: check the Compliance tab every Monday morning to catch gaps from the previous week.

  • Use the No Work Done tool for weekends or holidays to clear your compliance dashboard quickly.
