Using Crews to Organize Time Cards

Organizing timecards by crew streamlines the tracking of production of your employees across your organizations projects.

Using Raken Groups you can create crews where your employees can be grouped together based off of their typical grouping across projects. Once crews are created field employees can associate their time entries to those crews. When time entries are associated to crews production and time data are consolidated on daily reports ensuring that the most important data is front and center.


Creating a Crew

  1. Log into the Raken Web App.

  2. Click the Company tab at the top of the page.

  3. Click the option for Groups.

  4. Click the green box labeled + New Group.

  5. In the box that appears select the Class for the new Group.

    1. In this case select the option for Crew.

  6. Specify the crew name.

  7. Click the orange Save button.

Associating a Time Entry with a Crew

  1. The team member or worker will log into the Raken app using the credentials they set up upon invitation.

  2. Worker will tap the Clock In option and Team Members will tap the My Time option found in the navigation bar.

  3. Tap the Select Project button to choose a project to clock into.

  4. Tap the green Clock In button to start your time clock.

    1. While clocked in you can add notes related to the time allocated to the work you are performing.

    2. While clocked in you can log breaks like lunch etc.

    3. When enabled you can associate your timecard to a specific crew.

  5. When you are done working you tap the red Clock Out button.
