Raken Production Tracking gives you the tools you need to easily collect timely, detailed production data straight from the field. Check out the video below to learn how to create time and material quantity entries in Raken’s Production tab. 

Things to Consider

In order to use Production Tracking you must be a Professional or Performance Plan user. 

Steps

To get started, open your Raken mobile or web app and navigate to an active project — or create a new one, if needed. 

To record a Time Entry for a Person: 

  1. Navigate to the Production tab under the selected project. 
  2. Select the Time Cards section, then click the green + button in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. Tap on the drop-down menu, select Person, add the team member from your preloaded worker list, and select the green arrow in the bottom right. 
  4. Apply a Classification if the worker does not already have one.
  5. Enter the Hours worked and apply the associated Cost Code for the work completed. 
  6. Tap Save to log the time entry.

To record a Time Entry for a Crew: 

  1. Navigate to the Production tab under your selected project.
  2. Select the Time Cards section, then click the green + button in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. Tap on the drop-down menu and select Crew, then enter a Name for your time entry.
  4. Click Add Workers to add team members to your crew, then tap on the green arrow in the bottom right-hand corner.
  5. To easily manage multiple workers' hours at once, click on the blue Bulk Edit button in the upper right-hand corner.
  6. Enter the Hours worked, apply a Cost Code, then tap on the green arrow and select Apply to All.
  7. To edit individual workers' time, click on the blue pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner by each employee’s name.
  8. Tap Done and select Save to log the time entry.

To record a Material Quantity Entry: 

  1. Navigate to the Production tab under your selected project.
  2. Select the Materials section, then click on the green + button in the bottom right.
  3. Tap Select a Material to add a material from your preloaded list.
  4. Enter the Quantity Unit of Measurement used and apply the associated Cost Code.
  5. Optional: Add a Description, Photo, or other Attachment to provide more detail to your quantity entry.
  6. Click Save to log your Material Quantity Entry.
