If your company is required to submit injury and illness data to OSHA, Raken's OSHA ITA integration lets you submit that data electronically with one click — directly from the incident records you've already captured in Raken. No duplicate data entry, no manual CSV uploads.
Quick Answer
To submit incident data to OSHA from Raken:
Get your API token from the OSHA Injury Tracking Application.
In Raken, go to Company > Integrations and connect the OSHA Submit integration using your API token.
Navigate to Company > Incidents, verify your submission settings, and click Submit.
How to Set Up the OSHA ITA Integration
Step 1: Get Your OSHA API Token
Log into the OSHA Injury Tracking Application. If you don't have an account, create one at osha.gov/injuryreporting/ita/create-account.
Step 2: Verify or Create Your Establishment
In the OSHA ITA, click the Navigation Menu and verify that you have an Establishment set up for the business you track incident data for in Raken. If not, create one. This Establishment is what you'll link to Raken.
Step 3: Copy Your API Token
In the OSHA ITA, select See API Token from the Navigation Menu and copy the token shown.
Step 4: Connect the Integration in Raken
Log into the Raken web app. Click Company in the left side navigation, then click Integrations. Select the OSHA Submit integration and click + Connect. Enter your API token, select the corresponding Establishment, and click Authorize Connection.
Step 5: Configure Submission Settings
Navigate to Company > Incidents. On the Submission settings page, verify that the linked Establishment is correct, then enter your Average annual employees and Total hours worked for the year you want to submit data for.
Step 6: Submit to OSHA
From the All incidents page, click the Submit button in the top right corner. Review the details of the records to be submitted, then confirm. The selected incident records are sent directly to the OSHA ITA.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Who is required to submit data to OSHA ITA?
OSHA ITA submission requirements vary based on your company's size, industry, and whether you had recordable incidents. Visit osha.gov/injuryreporting to confirm your company's submission obligations.
What types of incidents can I submit?
You can submit OSHA 300 log data for recordable work-related injuries and illnesses. Raken transfers the incident details you've already captured — including injury type, body part affected, days away or restricted, and other required fields.
Can I resubmit if I make a correction?
Yes. You can update incident records in Raken and resubmit. Contact Raken Support if you need guidance on correcting a prior submission.
What if I have multiple establishments?
The integration links one Establishment per connection. If you have multiple establishments with separate OSHA reporting requirements, contact Raken Support for guidance.
