Raken gives you a comprehensive set of reports covering everything from daily logs and time cards to equipment, safety, and certifications. Every report follows the same simple workflow: configure your parameters, enter an email address, and Raken delivers the file directly to your inbox — no manual exporting required.

What Are Raken Reports?

Raken Reports are on-demand and scheduled data exports that pull information from across your projects and deliver it by email. Reports are available in CSV, XLS, or PDF format depending on the report type, and can be run once or set up to arrive automatically on a recurring schedule.

Reports are accessed from two places in the Raken web app:

  • Projects > [Your Project] > Reports button — generates reports scoped to one or more projects

  • Time > Time cards views — downloads time card data directly from the Time section

Available Reports

The following reports are available from the Reports button inside a project:

  • Daily — completed daily report PDF for a specific date

  • Super daily — combined daily report including all collaborator reports

  • Manpower — headcount and hours across your projects

  • Project summary — high-level project activity summary

  • Tasks — open and completed task list by project

  • Time card by worker — employee time card data including hours, pay types, and cost codes

  • Time card violations — flags for missed punches, geolocation issues, and other time card exceptions

  • Labor hours — scheduled vs. actual hours comparison

  • Toolbox talks — completed toolbox talk PDFs

  • Toolbox talks attendance — attendance records for completed talks

  • Toolbox talks compliance — compliance rates by project

  • Production quantities — material quantities logged against cost codes

  • Production summary — summary of production activity across projects

  • Production worksheet — detailed production entries with cost code breakdown

  • Equipment snapshot — current status of all equipment across projects

  • Equipment logs — daily equipment activity logs

  • Small equipment snapshot — current status of small equipment by project

  • Small equipment history — historical deployment and withdrawal records for small equipment

  • Checklists — completed checklist data by template and project

  • Observations — observation records filtered by class (Environmental, General, Quality, Safety)

  • RFI — request for information log delivered as PDF

  • Certifications — employee certification records with expiration dates

How to Run a Report

Step 1: Open the Reports Menu

Log into the Raken web app. Click Projects in the left navigation and open your project. Click the Reports button in the top right corner of the page. A dropdown list of all available report types will appear.

Step 2: Select a Report Type

Click the report you want to generate. A configuration modal will appear.

Step 3: Configure Your Report

Most reports share the same set of configuration options:

  • Project scope — choose from Active projects, Active and inactive projects, Selected projects, or Selected project groups

  • Time frame — select Current day, Current week, Bi-weekly, Current month, or Specific time frame

  • Send to — enter one or more email addresses to receive the report

Some reports include additional filters specific to that report type — such as Checklist name, Observation class, or Certification type.

Step 4: Run Once or Schedule

Each report modal has two tabs:

  • Run once — generates and delivers the report immediately to the email address(es) you entered

  • Scheduled — sets up automatic recurring delivery. Click New report, configure your parameters, and click Schedule report. Scheduled reports arrive automatically at the frequency you choose without requiring you to log in.

Step 5: Send

Click Send. Raken will process the report and deliver it to your inbox. Most reports arrive within a few minutes. You will receive an email from Raken with a download link or attached file.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

I didn't receive my report — what should I check?

Check your spam or junk folder first. Reports are sent from no-reply@rakenapp.com. If the email isn't there, confirm the email address you entered was correct and try running the report again.

Can I send a report to multiple people?

Yes. Enter multiple email addresses in the Send to field — separate each address by pressing Enter or adding a comma.

Can I edit or cancel a scheduled report?

Yes. Open the report modal, click the Scheduled tab, and you will see your active scheduled reports. Click into a scheduled report to edit its parameters or delete it.

Are reports available on mobile?

No. The Reports feature is available on the Raken web app only.

  • The time frame options available may vary slightly by report type.
