Resource Scheduling is a centralized scheduling tool in Raken that lets supervisors and administrators create, assign, and manage one-off or recurring shifts for employees, equipment, and materials. Once a schedule is created, assigned employees receive real-time notifications via email and SMS, and can view their shifts directly in the Raken mobile app.

Create shifts with a title, project, date, start and end times, and a repeat interval (weekly or monthly). Assign employees individually or by group, add cost codes, and set a color to distinguish shifts visually in your calendar view. Save as a draft to keep shifts hidden from the field until you're ready to publish.

Compare scheduled hours against actual hours entered on time cards to identify attendance gaps or budget overruns before they become problems. The Labor Hours Report is available to customers using both Resource Scheduling and Time Cards.

Track equipment and materials directly within a shift to ensure the right resources are at the right place at the right time. This helps prevent double-booking of expensive equipment and ensures crews have what they need to start on time. Available for accounts with Production Tracking enabled.

All schedule updates and changes are sent to assigned employees in real time via email and SMS. Automated notifications require a current email address or phone number in the employee's Raken profile.
