The Raken + FOUNDATION Software integration formats your Raken time card export to match FOUNDATION's import template β so you can download a pre-formatted CSV and import it directly into FOUNDATION without any reformatting. Save time and eliminate the errors that come from manual data entry.

How It Works
This is a flat file / CSV export integration. Once enabled, Raken formats your time card CSV to match the FOUNDATION import template. You download it from Raken and import it into your FOUNDATION account.
Before exporting, make sure the following required fields are complete in Raken β FOUNDATION requires all of these for a successful import:
Job Number (Project ID # in Raken)
Employee ID (Employee No. in Raken)
Cost Code
Phase Number (if applicable)
How to Enable the Integration
Step 1: Navigate to Integrations
Log into the Raken web app. Click Company in the left side navigation, then click Integrations.
Step 2: Connect FOUNDATION
Click the FOUNDATION tile, then click the orange + Connect button. Your Raken time card CSV exports now use the FOUNDATION format.
How to Export Time Cards for FOUNDATION
Log into the Raken web app and click Time in the left side navigation.
Click Time cards, then click Timesheets.
Select the pay period you want to export.
Click the download icon in the top right and select FOUNDATION. The formatted CSV downloads to your device.
Log into FOUNDATION and import the CSV file. Contact FOUNDATION Support for help with the import process if needed.

The import is failing β what should I check?
Verify that all required fields are complete in Raken: Job Number, Employee ID, Cost Code, and Phase Number (if applicable). Missing or mismatched values are the most common cause of import failures. Contact FOUNDATION Support for import-specific questions.
