Knowing exactly who is working on a project shouldn't be difficult. Raken's Project Directory gives you a centralized view of all Employees, Companies, and Collaborators assigned to each project—so you can manage access and track who's on site.

Quick Answer

To view and manage your project directory:

  1. Log into the Raken Web App.

  2. Click Projects and select your project.

  3. Click Project Directory in the left side menu.

  4. Select Employee, Company, or Collaborators to manage each group.

How to Use the Project Directory on the Web

Step 1: Open Your Project

Log into the Raken Web App. Click Projects in the left side navigation bar and select the project you want to manage.

Step 2: Navigate to Project Directory

Click Project Directory in the left side project menu.

Step 3: Manage Employees, Companies, and Collaborators

Select the tab for the group you want to manage:

  • Employee — Add or remove employee access to the project.

  • Company — Add or remove a company's association with the project.

  • Collaborators — Add or remove collaborator access. Collaborators are external parties (such as subcontractors) who can contribute to project reports.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

What is the difference between an Employee and a Collaborator in the Project Directory?

Employees are team members within your Raken account. Collaborators are external parties—such as subcontractors or partners—invited to contribute to a specific project.

Can I see all projects an employee is assigned to?

The Project Directory is project-specific. For a full view of team members across your organization, use the Company Directory.

Does adding someone to the Project Directory give them access to Raken?

Access depends on the person's Raken role and permissions. Adding them to the directory assigns them to the project, but their level of access is governed by their assigned role.

Technical Specifications

  • Platform: Web App only

  • Access: Account Administrators and Project Administrators

  • Directory tabs: Employee, Company, Collaborators

Considerations

  • The Project Directory manages project-level access. Use the Company Directory for organization-wide employee and contact management.

  • Each project can have a different set of collaborators. Collaborator access is managed independently per project.
