The Raken + Points North integration formats your Raken time card export to match the Points North import template β€” so you can download a pre-formatted CSV from Raken and import it directly into Points North without any manual reformatting.

Quick Answer

To enable the Points North integration:

  1. Contact Raken Support to request that Points North be enabled for your account.

  2. Once enabled, go to Company > Integrations, click the Points North tile, and click + Connect.

Requires the Performance Plan.

How It Works

This is a flat file / CSV export integration. Once enabled, Raken formats your time card export to match the Points North import template. You download the CSV from Raken and import it into Points North.

Before exporting, make sure all workers and users in Raken have a Classification assigned on their work logs β€” Points North requires this field for a successful import.

How to Enable the Integration

Step 1: Request Access

Contact Raken Support to request the Points North integration be enabled for your account. Once confirmed, proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Connect in Raken

Log into the Raken web app. Click Company in the left side navigation, then click Integrations. Click the Points North tile, then click the orange + Connect button. Your Raken time card and payroll CSV exports now use the Points North format.

How to Export Time Cards for Points North

  2. Click Time cards, then click Timesheets.

  3. Select the pay period you want to export.

  4. Click the download icon in the top right and select Points North. The formatted CSV downloads to your device.

  5. Log into Points North and import the CSV file. Contact Points North Support for help with the import process if needed.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

The import is failing β€” what should I check?

The most common cause is missing Classifications on worker entries. Make sure all workers and users in Raken have a Classification assigned on their work logs before exporting. Contact Raken Support for additional help.

Why does Points North require Classification on work logs?

Points North uses the Classification field to correctly categorize labor data during import. Without it, the import may fail or produce incorrect results.
