Managing Photo and Video Settings in Raken

Raken's photo and video settings let you control how photos taken in the app are organized and saved on your device — so your camera roll stays clean and your project photos are always easy to find.

  1. Tap More in the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Tap Settings, then tap Photo and video settings.

  3. Choose how you want photos saved to your device.

  4. Tap Save.


How to Manage Photo and Video Settings

Step 1: Open Settings

Open the Raken mobile app. Tap More in the bottom navigation bar, then tap Settings.

Step 2: Open Photo and Video Settings

Tap Photo and video settings.

Step 3: Choose Your Save Preference

Select how photos taken in the Raken app are handled on your device:

  • Save to device — photos are saved to your photo library. Choose to organize by project (separate albums per project) or in one Raken folder.

  • Don't save to device — photos are uploaded to Raken only. Your device storage won't be used.

Step 4: Save

Tap Save in the top right corner to apply your settings.


Troubleshooting & FAQ

Photos I take in Raken are cluttering my camera roll — how do I fix this?

Go to More > Settings > Photo and video settings and change to Don't save to device, or choose Organize in one Raken folder to keep all Raken photos in one album.

If I turn off device saving, will I lose my project photos?

No. Photos are always stored in Raken regardless of your device save settings. They're still accessible from your project's Gallery in Raken.

Does this setting affect photos I upload from my camera roll?

No. These settings only affect photos taken directly inside the Raken app. Photos selected from your camera roll are not affected.

Considerations

  • These settings apply only to photos taken inside the Raken app — not to uploads from your camera roll.
