How to Set Up the Raken Embedded Experience for BIM 360 + ACC Build

Managing project data across multiple platforms creates extra work and room for error. With the Raken Embedded Experience for Autodesk BIM 360 and ACC Build, you can access your Raken projects directly from your Project Home page—without switching systems or logging in separately.


Quick Answer

To add the Raken card to BIM 360 or ACC Build:

  1. From your Project Home page, click Customize > Card Library.

  2. Search for "Raken" and click Add Card.

  3. Click Configure, enter https://app.rakenapp.com as the URL, and click Save.

  4. Click Allow Access and sign in with your Raken credentials.


Steps — ACC Build

Adding the Raken Card in ACC Build

  1. Log in to your ACC Build account.

  2. Navigate to your My Home page and click Customize in the top right corner.

  3. Click Card Library and search for "Raken" in the search box.

  4. Check the box on the Raken logo that appears and click Add Card in the bottom right.

  5. When the Raken card appears, click Configure.

  6. Enter a card title and add the URL https://app.rakenapp.com, then click Save.

  7. Click Allow Access on the card and authenticate with your Raken login credentials, then click Sign In.

  8. The card loads the full Raken web app. Rearrange the cards on your home page as desired, then click Save in the top right corner to finalize.


Steps — BIM 360

Adding the Raken Card in BIM 360

  1. Log in to your Autodesk BIM 360 account.

  2. Navigate to your Project Home page and click Customize in the top right corner.

  3. Click Card Library and search for "Raken" in the search box.

  4. Check the box on the Raken logo and click Add Card in the bottom right.

  5. When the Raken card appears, click Configure.

  6. Enter a card title and add the URL https://app.rakenapp.com, then click Save.

  7. Click Allow Access and authenticate with your Raken login credentials, then click Sign In.

  8. The card loads the full Raken web app. Rearrange cards as desired and click Save in the top right corner to finalize.

Requirements

  • Raken: A Performance or Enterprise plan and working login credentials. If you need to upgrade, contact us!

  • Autodesk BIM 360 / ACC Build: An active account is required. For assistance, contact Autodesk Support.


Technical Specifications

  • Compatibility: Autodesk ACC Build and BIM 360 (web app, all major browsers)

  • Offline Capability: No — requires active connection

  • Plan Required: Performance or Enterprise Plan required

  • Role Required: Account Administrator (Raken); project admin access required in Autodesk


Considerations

  • Performance or Enterprise Plan required. You must have either the Performance or Enterprise plan in Raken to use this embedded experience.

  • Once connected, the full Raken web app is accessible from your BIM 360 or ACC Build home page—including daily reports, time cards, and safety management.
