We understand that finding a specific photo in a gallery with hundreds of images is time-consuming. To help you stay organized and save time, Raken now uses AI to automatically categorize your project photos for you.
How It Works
When the Raken AI is enabled, any new photos captured in the Raken app are instantly analyzed by our system. It then applies relevant tags based on what it sees, such as concrete, rebar, or equipment.
Where to find them: Open any photo in your Project Gallery on the Web. You’ll see the tags listed in the panel on the right-hand side.
Take control: While the AI does the heavy lifting, you’re still in charge. You can easily add your own custom tags, edit existing ones, or remove tags that don't apply.
Note: This feature is currently available on the Raken Web interface only. Mobile support is coming soon!
The Best Part: Searching
The real win here is the search bar. Instead of guessing filenames, just type "Concrete" or "Rebar" in your gallery search. Raken will instantly pull up every photo with that tag, even if you didn't name the file.

Which photos get tagged? Any photos taken directly in the Raken app.
Can I use these tags in my Daily Reports or Activity Feed? Currently, AI tags are exclusive to the Project Gallery on Web. We are working on expanding these tags to the Activity Feed and other areas of Raken soon!
Can I bulk download photos by a specific tag? At this time, the bulk download tool applies to the entire gallery. However, we know this is a highly requested feature! If your team needs tag-specific downloads, please let us know so we can log your feedback for our product team.
Can I turn this feature off? We want Raken to work exactly how you need it to. If you’d prefer to disable automatic tagging for your account, just reach out to our support team, and we’ll take care of it for you.
Quick Tips for Success:
Review your tags: Occasionally, check the right-hand panel to ensure your tags are as accurate as possible for your specific site conditions.
Use Custom Tags: If you have a specific internal code or sub-contractor name, add it as a custom tag to make your end-of-project reviews even faster.
