We know that reviewing every single daily report across all your projects can be time-consuming. To help you get the full picture without the "noise," Raken now creates a Daily Report Summary for every signed report.
Think of it as your project's morning briefing—it pulls out the most important details so you can see exactly what happened on-site yesterday in seconds.
How it works
Once a daily report is signed, our system takes a look at everything: work logs, safety observations, delays, equipment, and even the weather. It then writes a concise summary that puts the most important stuff (like safety issues or delays) right at the top.
Where to find them: When you log in, you’ll see a banner at the top of your Activity Feed. Click "View Summaries" to filter out the noise and just see your daily highlights.
Dive deeper: Click on any summary to open a sidebar with the full details.
Verify the details: Many summaries include blue hyperlinks. Clicking these will take you directly to the specific photo, attachment, or data point the summary is talking about, so you can see the context immediately.
Note: This feature is currently available on the Raken Web interface only. Mobile support is coming soon!
Pro-Tips for your team
Copy and Paste: Need to send a quick update to a stakeholder or owner? You can copy the summary text directly from the sidebar and paste it into an email or another report.
Give Feedback: You’ll see a thumbs-up/down icon on each summary. Letting us know what you think helps our system get even better at highlighting what matters to you.
Common Questions
Will this work if we only put a little bit of info into Raken? Yes! Even if your team only fills out basic work logs, we’ll still give you a summary. That said, the more detail your crew puts in (like photos and notes), the more valuable and detailed your summaries will be.
Do these show up in my emailed reports? Not just yet. For now, you can find them right on your Raken homepage (the Activity Feed). We are currently looking into ways to get these summaries into other parts of the platform soon!
Can I filter summaries for a specific week or month? Right now, summaries are created one-to-one for each signed daily report. While you can’t "group" a whole month into one summary yet, you can use the date filters in your Activity Feed to find specific summaries from the past.
What if I want to turn this off? If you’d prefer to stick to the full reports only, no problem. Just get in touch with our Raken Support team, and we can disable the summary feature for your account.
