If daily report information ends up on the wrong date or the wrong project, the Transfer Tool lets you move it quickly — without losing any data. Whether you need to shift notes to a different day or move an entire report to a different project, the Transfer Tool handles it in a few taps.

To transfer a daily report on the web: go to Projects > [Project] > Daily Logs, click the Transfer button (double arrows icon at the top of the page), select your Transfer From date, Transfer To date, and destination project, then click Transfer.
How to Transfer a Daily Report on the Web
Log into the Raken web app and click Projects in the left side navigation.
Open the project where the information was originally entered.
Click Daily Logs.
Navigate to the date that contains the information you want to transfer.
Click the Transfer button (the double arrows icon, located to the right of the calendar icon) at the top of the page.
In the Transfer panel that appears, confirm the Transfer From date, then select the Transfer To date and the destination Project.
Click the orange Transfer button to complete the transfer.
How to Transfer a Daily Report on Mobile
Open the Raken mobile app and tap Project Tools.
Select the project where the information was originally entered.
Tap Daily Logs.
Tap the calendar icon at the top of the screen and navigate to the date you want to transfer.
Tap the Transfer button at the top of the screen.
Select your Transfer From date and your Transfer To date. By default the transfer stays within the same project. To move to a different project, tap Move to another project and select the destination project.
Tap Save to complete the transfer.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Does the Transfer Tool copy the data or move it?
It moves the data — it does not copy and paste. The information is lifted from the Transfer From date and placed on the Transfer To date. The original date will be empty after the transfer.
Can I copy daily report content to a future day without removing it from the original?
Not currently. The Transfer Tool moves data — it does not copy it. If you need the same content on multiple days, you will need to manually re-enter it on the additional dates. We've noted this as a feature request.
Can I transfer to a date that already has entries?
No — you can only transfer to an empty day. This prevents any existing entries on the destination date from being overwritten.
Can I transfer data from today to a past date?
No — transfers are only permitted from the past to the present or future. You cannot move data backwards to a past date.
Can I transfer data to a different project?
Yes — on both web and mobile you can select a different project as the transfer destination. The destination date on that project must be empty.
What data is transferred?
The Transfer Tool moves all information from the selected daily report — including work logs, notes, survey answers, photos, and attachments. Time cards are not included in the transfer.
