Where Text Formatting Is Available
Text formatting is supported in: work log descriptions, time card descriptions, note descriptions, survey answers, checklist answers (including question notes and text field answers), observation descriptions, and observation corrective actions.
Formatting renders in the Daily Report PDF, Super Daily Report PDF, Checklist PDF, and Observation PDF.
How to Format Text on the Web
Navigate to any supported field — for example, a Work Log description or a time card Description field.
Type your text, then click and drag to select the portion you want to format.
A toolbar will appear above the selected text. Click the option you want: B (Bold), I (Italic), U (Underline), or S (Strikethrough). You can apply multiple formats to the same text.
Click Save. Formatting is preserved in the entry and in exported PDF reports.
How to Format Text on Mobile
Tap into any supported field — for example, a Work Log description or a Checklist answer text field.
Type your text, then long-press to select it. Use the selection handles to highlight the portion you want to format.
Tap the formatting option from the toolbar that appears: Bold, Italic, Underline, or Strikethrough.
Tap Save. Formatting is preserved in the entry and in exported PDF reports.

Can I use bullet points or numbered lists?
Not at this time. Only bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough are supported.
Does formatting work everywhere in the app?

Can I remove formatting after applying it?
