Raken's safety and compliance reports make it easy to export toolbox talk records, checklist completions, and observation data for audits, project reviews, and safety compliance documentation.
How to Access Safety Reports
Log into the Raken web app. Click Projects in the left navigation and open your project. Click the Reports button in the top right corner, then select the report type from the dropdown.
Safety & compliance reports require the Performance Plan.
Only the Toolbox Talks report supports scheduled, recurring delivery. Toolbox Talks Attendance, Toolbox Talks Compliance, Checklists, and Observations are send-once only, confirmed via screenshot Sept 10, 2026.
Safety reports are run at the project level, but most support broader scope options (Active projects, Active and inactive projects, Selected projects, or Selected project groups) within a single run. For true cross-project dashboards, use the Safety & QC Insights dashboard under Dashboard > Insights > Safety instead.
Toolbox Talks Report
The Toolbox talks report exports completed toolbox talk PDFs for a selected project and time frame. Each report includes the talk topic, date, administrator signature, and attendee signatures — your primary documentation for OSHA training records and safety meeting compliance.
How to Run
Click Reports and select Toolbox talks.
Select your Project scope — Active projects, Active and inactive projects, Selected projects, or Selected project groups.
Select the Talks to include — choose specific talks or leave blank to include all.
Select your Time frame.
Enter the recipient email address in Send to.
Click Send to run once, or use the Scheduled tab to automate recurring delivery.
Format: PDF
Delivery: Email — you will receive a message from Raken with a download link when the talks report is ready.
This is the only report on this page with a Scheduled tab.
Toolbox Talks Attendance Report
The Toolbox talks attendance report shows attendance data across talks — which employees attended which talks, and which talks had attendance gaps. Use it to document worker safety training for compliance purposes or to follow up with crew members who may need to make up missed safety training.
How to Run
Click Reports and select Toolbox talks attendance.
Select your Project scope.
Select the Talks to include.
Select your Time frame.
Enter the recipient email address in Send to.
Click Send.
Format: CSV
Send-once only — there is no Scheduled tab on this report.
Toolbox Talks Compliance Report
The Toolbox talks compliance report shows the completion rate for scheduled talks — what percentage of scheduled talks were actually delivered. It helps safety managers quickly identify which projects or crews are falling behind on required safety talks.
How to Run
Click Reports and select Toolbox talks compliance.
Select your Project scope.
Select the Talks to include.
Select your Time frame.
Enter the recipient email address in Send to.
Click Send.
Format: CSV
Send-once only — there is no Scheduled tab on this report. Compliance data depends on talks being scheduled in advance — ad hoc talks that weren't pre-scheduled may not appear in this report.
Checklists Report
The Checklists report exports completed checklist data for a selected checklist template, project, and time frame — including the template name, completion date, submitted by, and item-level results (Pass/Fail/N/A). Use it to review inspection records, audit safety checks, or track quality control completions. Each individual checklist also has its own PDF, downloadable from the project's Safety & QC > Checklists > Completed tab.
How to Run
Click Reports and select Checklists.
Select your Project scope.
Select the Checklist name from the dropdown — choose a specific template or leave blank for all.
Select your Time frame.
Enter the recipient email address in Send to.
Click Send.
Format: CSV
Note: If no checklists were completed for the selected project and time period, the report will include a message indicating no data was found for that period.
Send-once only — there is no Scheduled tab on this report.
Observations Report
The Observations report exports observation records logged on your projects — including type, sub-type, status, priority, assignee, and description. You can filter by observation class to focus on a specific category of safety or quality data. Use this report to document corrective action history and demonstrate your safety program's effectiveness.
How to Run
Click Reports and select Observations.
Select your Project scope.
Select the Class — choose one or more from Commissioning, Environmental, General, Quality, and Safety.
Select your Time frame.
Enter the recipient email address in Send to.
Click Send.
Format: CSV
Send-once only — there is no Scheduled tab on this report.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Can I schedule any of these reports to arrive automatically?
Only the Toolbox Talks report supports a Scheduled tab for recurring, automated delivery. Toolbox Talks Attendance, Toolbox Talks Compliance, Checklists, and Observations must be run and sent manually each time.
The Toolbox talks report says no completed talks were found — why?
This means no toolbox talks were completed on the selected project(s) for the selected time period. Check that the correct project and time frame are selected, and that talks have been completed by your field team.
Can I export checklists for all templates at once?
Yes. Leave the Checklist name field blank to include all templates in the export.
What observation classes are available?
The Observations report supports five classes: Commissioning, Environmental, General, Quality, and Safety.
Can I run safety reports across multiple projects at once?
Each report supports a broader project scope (Active projects, Active and inactive projects, Selected projects, or Selected project groups) within a single run. For true cross-project dashboards and trend analysis, use the Safety & QC Insights dashboard under Dashboard > Insights > Safety instead.

Considerations
Safety & compliance reports require the Performance Plan.
Only the Toolbox Talks report has a Scheduled tab. All other reports on this page (Toolbox Talks Attendance, Toolbox Talks Compliance, Checklists, Observations) are send-once only.
Toolbox talk reports only include completed talks — talks that were assigned but not completed will not appear.
Toolbox talks compliance data depends on talks being scheduled in advance — ad hoc talks that weren't pre-scheduled may not appear in that report.
Checklist reports require at least one checklist template to be published and completed on the project before data will appear.
Observations must be logged by your field team before they will appear in the Observations report.
For cross-project safety analytics rather than a single-project export, use the Safety & QC Insights dashboard.
