New Time Tracking Features (Web):

Raken has streamlined the time management experience. The goal of these changes is to improve clarity, speed, and consistency with time tracking across the web and mobile app.

They will also help to boost accuracy when allocating overtime, increase efficiency when reviewing time across multiple projects, and clearly separate employee time cards from subcontractor work logs.

Benefits of the new time tracking features.

Clearer Navigation

  • Overtime is automatically allocated correctly across the pay period, regardless of entry order

Web Time Card Flows

To Create a Time Card on Web

Create a new time card to enter time for a single employee or crew

  1. Select a project

  2. Navigate to Daily Logs > Time Cards

  3. Select “Create New Time Card”

  4. Select a crew (optional)

  5. Select one or more employees

  6. Enter hours and details

Edit time for single employees

  1. Select a project

  2. Navigate to Daily Logs > Time Cards

  3. Edit time card

  4. Select ellipsis (...) > Edit

  5. Edit hours, breaks, cost codes, etc.

Bulk edit time for a crew

Edit time or activities in bulk for all employees on the crew

  1. Select a project

  2. Navigate to Daily Logs > Time Cards

  3. Edit time card

  4. Tap Bulk Edit

  5. Edit hours, breaks, cost code, etc.

Other, less frequently used options can be found under the ellipsis (...) menu

  • Payroll Notes

  • Pay Types

  • Classifications

  • Shifts

New Feature: Split Time Cards

Use split to allocate time across multiple cost codes or activities

  1. Tap the ellipsis (...) menu

  2. Select split

  3. Add split time and select cost code

The changes to the time tracking features makes managing labor faster, cleaner, and more accurate, giving crews and supervisors a single, reliable way to enter, review, and submit time without disrupting existing payroll processes.
