Every team out there has their own unique approach to safety and quality documentation on the job site. To ensure that your field team can gather the data you need, we're adding safety checklists, a simple yet flexible way for Safety Managers to construct customizable field workflows that optimize their safety compliance and field data collection.

How it works

Checklists start on the Raken Web App, where, alongside a selection of pre-built, commonly used checklists, Safety Managers and Office Admins will find a powerful checklist builder. Using the checklist builder, you can easily digitize your existing forms, checklists, and inspection documents and make them available immediately for your field team to complete in the Raken Mobile App. Apart from standardizing and centralizing these forms, the new Checklists will also speed up completion in the field by automating the capture of much of the required data, such as the date, project name & number, and the name of the person completing the form.

Once you have your custom checklists created your team will be able to complete them as needed from the field in the Safety & Quality tab in the Mobile App. Each team member can start as many checklists as needed, save them as drafts, and sign them when completed. Completed checklists will be available to view and share directly from the app and will also automatically transfer back to the web app for office review and reference.

This feature is currently in beta and we’re excited to get your feedback.

How do I join the beta?

  • Sign up here to request beta access, and select "Checklists" from the Product Interest dropdown option in the form.
  • If selected to participate, you will receive an email with instructions for how to use Checklists for your team.

Are there any participation requirements?

Yes, at this time you must:

  • Have at least one form/checklist that you would like to digitize for use in Raken
  • Have an active Raken Performance or Enterprise account
  • Have company admin access permissions
  • Be willing to provide product feedback and communicate with members of the Raken project team throughout the duration of the beta period

Note: If you're new to Raken or on a Basic or Professional plan, sign-up and a member of our team will reach out with the next steps for getting your team access.

How will the beta work?

Once you've received confirmation that you meet the criteria and have been selected to participate, we'll turn on Checklists for your account. We will periodically ask you how things are going, and give you the ability to provide in-app feedback. You can also reach out to our product team at any time.

As with any beta program, you’ll have early access to features that are still under development so it may have some quirks that need to be improved upon—but that's what beta testing is for!
