How Supervisors and Payroll Teams Approve Timecards in Raken

With the ability to approve and lock time for each pay period, site supervisors and payroll admins can have more confidence that payroll is accurate. Securely locking approved time helps mitigate any unapproved changes, and gives visibility into exactly who submitted, changed, and approved each timecard.

How Does It Work?

  1. Foremen submit timecards throughout the payroll period (typically weekly)

  2. Supervisors (or lead foremen) receive a notification at the end of the pay period prompting them to review their crews' time

  3. Supervisors visit the timesheets page to review their crews time

  4. By default, all timecards are unapproved

  5. Supervisors can approve timecards individually or in bulk

  6. Approved timecards will be locked to prevent unintended changes
