Setup and Manage Resource Schedules on the Raken Mobile App

The Raken mobile app allows you and your team to view and manage resource schedules. Having access to your schedules anywhere and at anytime ensures your organization is always running as efficiently as possible.


Create a Schedule

  1. Open the Raken mobile app.

  2. Tap the Schedule button found in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap the orange + button found in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  4. A new page will appear where you can enter and select the desired shift specific information.

    1. Title - The name of the shift that will be visible to employees in the office and the field.

    2. Project - The project for which the shift is assigned.

    3. Start date - The specific day that the shift will begin.

    4. Start and End Time - The start and end times define the period of time that the shift will occur.

    5. Repeat - Defines the interval at which the shift will repeat. You have options of Does not repeat, Weekly and Monthly.

    6. Cost codes - Provides a list of cost codes within the organization. A single or multiple cost codes can be selected to be performed during the shift.

    7. Employees - Provides a list of employees in your organization. Individual or multiple employees can be selected for the shift.

    8. Description - A description of the activities, goals or responsibilities that will occur during the duration of the shift.

  5. Tap the Save button in the top right corner of the screen.

Managing and Viewing Existing Schedules

Managing Existing Schedules

  1. Open the Raken mobile app.

  2. Tap the Schedule button found in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap the Shift that you would like to manage.

  4. A page will appear that shows all existing shift details. Tap and adjust any of the details shown to change the shift and its details.

  5. Tap the Save button in the top right corner of the screen.

  6. Confirm how the changes will be applied. Options include This and following events and All events.

Viewing Existing Schedules

Once shifts are created you can view your organizations multiple shift with multiple layouts, filters and organization tools.

Filters - You can filter to view specific Employees, Projects or Cost Codes.

Schedule View - You can adjust the presentation of the schedules.

  • Day view - Each day of the week is its own separate screen. Within each screen you will see the shifts that occur that day.

  • List - Each day of the week is its own separate row. Under each row you will see the shifts that occur that day.
